It's been another busy year at #OrthotropicEngineering, providing composites-focused design, analysis and consultancy services across a number of industry sectors. Completing our fourth year in business in uncertain times, we've been fortunate to continue growing our client-base and have now had the privilege to serve customers not just here in the UK but also in a number of EU countries.
This year, we've prioritised our internal R&D work, completing the manufacture, seawater-conditioning and testing of a large number of composite coupons. The results are proving especially useful when it comes to the selection of materials for marine projects, so thanks go to Tanveer from the University of Bristol who contributed greatly to this work during his placement with us! We also found a little time to add to the resources section of our website and had a great couple of days exhibiting at the International Composites Summit back in September - Thanks to everyone who stopped to say hello!
There's more material testing planned for 2023, in addition to a major software investment as we continuously strive to advance our technical capabilities.
It remains to thank all our customers, suppliers and friends for their continued support in 2022, and to wish you all a fantastic Christmas. We hope to talk composites with you again in 2023!
